The method of Permeon application will vary according to the scale of the project.

PERMEON is colourless when first applied. Within days, variegated colours ranging from light brown to black emerge. Colours and intensities are controlled by application techniques and by varying strengths of the solution being applied. Trained crews with custom spray equipment and variable tip nozzles can cover large areas in a short time. For difficult or unstable areas, helicopters have been used with good success.
1. Large Scale Application
The application of PERMEON over large areas will vary according to the accessibility of the terrain.
  1. Where high rock faces require treatment a high lift platform will be required.
  2. For rocky terrain which makes access difficult, a hydroseeding cannon may be used.
  3. At easily accessible sites PERMEON is applied from a trailer fitted with a tanker & compressor.

2. Small Scale Application
For small areas and residential applications an agricultural backpack sprayer is suggested.
3. Method
  1. Use as soon as possible as the concentrate begins to crystallise if it stands too long. Keep the concentrate in a dark place before use as it will oxidise in the presence light.
  2. Crush crystals that appear and re-blend with the mixture.
  3. Dilute the concentrate with five to six(5-6) parts of water (depending on effect dilution can be varied).
  4. Use a garden herbicide sprayer or an agricultural backpack sprayer with an adjustable nozzle.
  5. Adjust the nozzle so that a fine spray is formed.
  6. Lightly wet the exposed rock surface. If the surface begins to run you will have sprayed too much.
  7. A second test you could perform is to repeat the spray over an area that has dried.
  8. The full colour should be developed in 7 to 10 days.

4. Colour Adjustment
The colour can be adjusted by a change in the dilution of the composition. The colour range is light brown to very dark brown. More than one coat will darken the colour.
