    Natural landscape patina is the brown to black coating that forms on exposed rock surfaces in certain drier regions throughout the world. These coatings, primarily iron and manganese oxides, are deposited as wind blown dust and require thousands of years to develop naturally.

    Advanced Concrete Technologies has developed and is marketing a new technology known as PERMEON, a simulated landscape patina which is used to restore the natural earth tones to areas scarred by building, mining or recreational activity.
